Here’s Part 2 of a 5-part series on our Food Biker™ filming at Beekman 1802 and Sharon Springs, NY, during the annual Garden Party festival weekend.
Each article offers a different perspective of our trip, as written by individual Complete Breakfast Productions crew members.
Beekman Bound: THE B-CAM BABE
I love me a road-trip….and had a superb time road-trippin’ to Sharon Springs with the Food Biker crew!
We got loads of beau-tee-ful footage, ate some boss food, and met a bunch of amazing people.
One of the best parts of the trip was the Garden Party, where we met all the wonderful folks of Sharon Springs. For lunch, we stopped by Mama Sheps’ pulled pork cart. She is a true hostess and a sweetheart who also happens to make a mean Chili Cheese Dog. During our meal, the Producer and I even got free love advice from Mama Shep’s iced out mama. Love = presents, according to her. After lunch, our Associate Producer promptly bought me a snow cone to demonstrate her love for me. She’s the bomb.
The Beekman Boys and their farm turned out to be all they’re cracked up to be for sure. Josh and Brent are super professional, witty, kind, handsome, and obviously in all kinds of love. (Are you getting a theme here? Love and food? Yep. That’s what it’s all about, people.)
Now, since celebrity animals are my jam, you can imagine my excitement when I got to meet Polka Spot, Önder, and of course, all the goats. All in all, I had a blast with the crew and got to do some really great work. I even got to make a Food Biker cameo (look for it because, I am spellbinding.) Can’t wait till we ‘til we hit the road again!
My only regrets:
- Not bowling at the hotel. (There was a bowling alley in the hotel.)
- Being too sheepish to ask Brent about his workout routine, because, people, the man has perfect calves. (No, really, they are perfect.)
